SAVE THE DATE FOR THE MAIN EVENT IV!

 

 

The fourth installment of The Main Event is locked in for February 27^th to March 2^nd, 2014 at Crown, Melbourne! We are thrilled to be hosting this sensational tournament again and with $100,000 GTD first prize we’re sure it will be a sensational weekend, uniting poker players from all over the country at The Crown Poker Room.

Our most recent winner, Amjed Slewa, will be ready to defend his title and there are already plenty of poker players who have qualified and will spend the next nine months dreaming of taking home the coveted bracelet.

CONGRATULATIONS AMJED SLEWA - MAIN EVENT III CHAMPION

The third installment of The Main Event kicked off at midday on Friday 21st February as 445 players from APL, 888PL and Pub Poker took to the Crown Poker Room to play for their share of over $450,000 in cash and prizes.

The tournament coincided with the launch of Full House Group's brand new partnership with charitable organisation Save Our Sons. Players were encouraged to donate 1% of their winnings to the charity and it was heartwarming to see most players who cashed dig deep and do their bit to help find a cure for Dechenne Muscualr Distrophy!

Day 1 ended at around 7pm Friday night with 178 players beginning day 2 on Saturday morning at 10:10am. There was no letting up with players busting at the felt, and we found ourselves in the cash before we knew it. All the details on the top 54 players are available on our Facebook page.

Day 2 concluded at 8pm when final table was announced and the remaining 10 players could go home and get a good rest in before the big day on Sunday.

The final table commenced at 2pm on Sunday the 24th with the players:
